All our events have 3rd party insurance in place, this does not cover personal injury claims. Due to the nature of the race there is always a risk of injury, we advise that if you do not have personal insurance in place that you avail of it for the day. In addition to this, our events take place in open spaces and farm land, we do not have control over what animals access the area in our absence. By participating in our events you are agreeing to take the risk of being exposed to possible infections & diseases, please refer to Irish Water Safety website for further info: http://www.iws.ie/inland-waterways-safety/subpage.513.html At Mini Mucker events we take every measure on the day to ensure your child’s safety but it is our duty to make you aware of the risks.
For insurance purposes all children must have a waiver signed by their guardian on the day to participate in the race and an absent waiver form if they are attending the event with an adult who is not their guardian. They will also require a copy of their photo id as proof of age. To speed up the registration process on the day, we advise that you print out and sign all paperwork in advance.
Unfortunately if a waiver and ID is not presented at registration the participant will not be allowed to take part in the event and will not be entitled to a refund.
